Cassie had been practicing her disillusionment charm, and she was finally ready for Halloween. She was going to give her friends the biggest spook of their lives. First up was Jessica. She waited until the girl was getting ready, engrossed with her appearance in the mirror. Cassie sent a spell to shatter the mirror, cautious to make sure there weren’t any flying glass shards. Jess jumped back and looked at her mirror in horror, but Cassie wasn’t done yet.
Her next trick didn’t require magic, but a simple flip of the light switch. Jessica screamed, and she fled her bathroom. |
