Default You guys are so Adorable about Cassie <3
Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something...

They were going to tell her about these mirrors and they were going to tell her soon, but if they wouldn't how would she get it out of them. Her mind was trying to figure out a plan when she noticed plans on a desk. Was this from that professor they kept talking about. She noticed the word Scrying, yes this had to be what they were talking about. It all looked to be there, but the hearts and bubbly words. Ugh she couldn't even stomach to look at it. Her eyes moved back to the subjects in front of her.

Angel looked at the Professor again and raised her hand, maybe she could lie. "It's just a normal mirror, you look into it and see a reflection and then you make alteration to your appearance if you don't like how you look." Angel gave the best angelic smile she could.
"Why would I care if you are writing stuff down. This is not a class, I will not teach you." They would be doing her work not her doing theirs. Silly child. In a very harsh tone she rounded on the girl, "It is not a normal mirror. These are magical mirrors and someone will be telling me how they work. Mine is missing and I need to know if Snow White is gone yet." She had to be the fairest of them all.

Ian thought about leaving when the professor picked up the snapcup and got angry about it. He watched in abject horror as she dropped the cup and it shattered on the floor. He cried out, Nooooooo! as the little pieces of the cup rested on the ground. His sweet, happy professor was gone to be replaced by this horrid, horrid person. Ian crossed his hands in front of him and put on his unhappy face.

Hearing cries of No the queen turned her attention to the boy. "Do you have an issue with your queen?" Her eyes glancing to the mess on the floor. "Are you crying over that ridiculous thing with those words? Did you write those words that were in it?" Did he think this was a funny joke against his queen? She looked at everyone, "I will not tolerate disrespect in my kingdom. Disrespect will get you sent straight to the dungeons." Where were her guards?

Unless you added Airey to the equation, Lex would stick with Bunz...unless certain circumstances came up in which case she'd convince Airey to side with Bunz too for his own good.

Just saying.

LOL haha what just happened. She BROKE the snap cup?? The nonchalance faded and Lex found herself trying to stifle the laughter that was bubbling in her chest. This was TOO funny. Hahahahahaha could she be here when the Professor woke up? HAHA.

Not being able to fully remove the amused look she attempted an answer. "Nothing. We know nothing about scrying." Not true but how would she know?
This girl was making her furious and the Queen slammed her hands down on the table in front of her. "SILENCE" She would not tolerate such nonsense. "This is my kingdom, those are my dungeons, and you will be seeing them very soon if you do not start showing your queen respect." Glaring straight at her at a very close range, this girl will behave or she would have her heart for her next prize. Taking a glance at her apple that she had brought with it, it might be worth using on her. She could find a new one for Snow White.

He didn't much feel like playing along anymore, this weird thing that was going around was getting old. For him the fun of adventure and weirdness had worn off with Botros and his Sebastian searching, there was only so much weird he could handle, he actually kinda LIKED learning things.

As for the whole scrying things... well they hadn't really been TAUGHT anything about it. Cept with the crystal ball stuff, and that was only LET YOUR MIND GO AND LET IT SEEE... there was no method to the madness as far as he was concerned. Still, perhaps he could enlighten this, weird queen lady of SOMETHING that might have to do with the topic.

Raising his hand before speaking, Zeke attempted to ignore the crazy and just try to get to the lesson bit. "You need to stop thinking, and just... be." Or something. Yeah. Yeah. And preferably be less weird and insane and WHAT WAS EVEN GOING ON AT THIS SCHOOL?! He'd had enough of the whole dress ups thing after History of Magic, this was just getting, lame.
Hearing a younger boy the queen turned her attention for a moment from the girl and moved towards the mirror looking into it. "Stop thinking and just be?" She wasn't sure what he meant but she took a deep breath and tried to stop thinking and clear her mind. Though something kept trying to push out, something happy, and the queen pushed it away again.

Snoooort meanie queenie. Hehehehe. The second year stared at her shoes to keep from laughing. Meanie Queenie. Heh.

And then that Gryffindor boy was talking about scrying again. She didn't even know what scrying WAS, that class had been aaaages ago. Norah raised her hand anyway, determined not to be yelled at by loony Professor Morgan. "You must clean them first before looking." Theeeere. That was a thing, right? Cleaning? She went back to tapping her fingers on the table.
Clean them, was this girl being serious? "Well these look cleaned already so I think that step has passed." If she was trying to be funny the queen would soon get the last laugh, she didn't deal with jokes.

Ummm... okay. Did she even need to reply to the craziness? Would that just draw attention to her? That didn't sound like such a good thing. In fact AJ was wishing that she didn't come to the lesson at all. It seemed like a not so smart choice now.

To answer or not to answer? That was the question. Deciding to go ahead and say her piece, AJ raised her hand. Oh, right. She probably didn't need to do that. "All I know is that you are supposed to look in the crystal ball and see stuff." Something that AJ had never managed to do actually.

"Now see finally a loyal subject with some brains. You can see into the future with these mirrors. Interesting." They might be better then her magic mirror. That magic mirror was getting on her nervous with the Snow White is the fairest of them all. Some days she really wanted to just break it. "What are the magic words to get it to work?" There were always magic words. Her eyes flickered toward the child with her next comment. "There are no crystal balls here, so that can not be the correct answer. Focus on these mirrors."

''Well, it's gone now, Benny...'' What a strange book.

Scrying. The Hufflepuff raised a hand, wishing the Mean Queen would just disappear like the book. Who cared if she liked the snap cup or not? It was Professor Cassie's. "It's where we gaze into translucent stuff with the hope of seeing images.''
"Gazing into translucent stuff. Intersting, so mirror could be used for Scrying." She focused back on the mirror. This had to be a clue on how to get this mirror to work. Yes, it would have to be.

Why was it always him, hmm?

Well, if anything this meant he had to fix it. He had to save Professor Morgan from whatever mess her heart was in. Gah. Being the hero was so consuming.

O_______O HEY? How come she was rolling her eyes at him!? It was a serious answer!! He was trying to help her!! "Well, for one even though Scrying sounds like crying, they aren't the same thing." He learned that the hard way. "And you said it was kind of hard to do and that we have to concentrate and clear our minds...?" He was trying so hard, Professor. So hard to not make her even more upset.

Zander had broken Professor Morgan. And he had to fix her. But HOW?
"I said? I SAID?? I have never said anything about any of this. Your queen does not do go around saying to clear your mind or concentrate on sorcery." That was just stupid, if her subjects knew sorcery she would be in more danger and her power over her castle would not hold any longer.

Then she destroyed the SNAC cup and he jumped when he heard the cup break. Man Professor Cassie was off her rocker. She never seen this side of her before. He was just sitting there quietly and then he heard the next question.

What did he know about Scrying? He didn't really know too much but he was sure it had to do with crystal gazing right? He raised his hand and offered some answer to his queen, "Erm my Queen is it? Yeah um scrying is also called seeing or peeping and it when you look into a crystal ball or whatever and can be visions.." He really didn't know how to talk to her anymore.
No this one, this one was smart. "Finally one that knows how to adress me." It was about time too. "See or peeping?" She nodded and searched in the mirror. It was hard to focus and clear her mind with all this chatting and annoying voices of the peasants, but they were there to help her so she would force them silent after she was through.

What in the name of Merlin? What was with the weird getup? Because Grayson was totally digging it. And what he was digging more was the weird, slightly evil nature. Lulz. It was weird, for one thing, because Professor Cassie was usually known to be the nice, bouncy one who looked like she'd had too many Cheering Charms placed on her. But this? THIS?! This was something he could welcome. Especially when..............

.............. OH NO SHE DI'NT!

BUT SHE DID! SHE BROKE THE SNAP CUP!!!!

FREAKING YEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Grayson was WELL CHUFFED at this point. Look at his FACE! Where there had been a look of confusion before, it was not replaced with a wide GRIN. It was almost as if someone told him that he was being crowned and would be getting as many ham and cheese sandwiches as he wanted. MAN. Please don't bring the snap cup back, Prof. Leave it where it was and they wouldn't have any more snaps. Everybody wins.

And her question on scrying? "The crystal ball is the most popular way of scrying, I'd say. But scrying's dead difficult. Need a Inner Eye for it and whatnot." Was this lesson gonna be a dud?

The magical book? He paid no attention to it. What he DID pay attention to was the fact that Professor Cassie had called Lex a peasant. Er. Rude. Come on, Professor, pick on someone less cool, please.
"As I told the other there is no crystal ball here so that is not going to help us now is it? We are focusing on the mirror." She glared at the boy was he not listening to the others?

So maybe she was being a bit harsh, okay? She just sat, quietly, and waited to see whatever punishment this loon donned on their unfortunate little heads. She folded her arms across her chest and kept a very APATHETIC look on her face--but really, she was worried about Professor Cassie--WHAT HAD THIS IMPOSTOR DONE TO HER? Was Professor Cassie still THERE? Eden hoped so--

This was awful, and it was reminding her of Astro ALL over again, and she did NOT want to relive that chaos of a class again. No NO. Eden SWORE if this person locked ANYONE in a closet she was going to hex her. Yep. Hexing.

A professor.

Because that was smart..

And where had that bloody book gone?

No need to get her own hands dirty when she had others to do it for her. "Why should I make things easy for you? You need to tell me what you are hiding. I will find out the truth." She wouldn't let on she didn't know exactly what it was, but they knew, she knew they knew.

Excuse me Mr. Kitridge, have you lost any dangerous fairytale books? Had the librarian even noticed that the book was gone? She would have to think about that later.

What of it? "I'm not going to go looking for the book if that's what you're thinking, Lex." Not yet, anyway. She was a Ravenclaw, and she wasn't stupid enough to try to find a book that was known to possess people, at least not until she knew what she was up against, and not unless she had adequate help. If she wasn't careful, she could end up as a fairytale character. Some people didn't believe that the book was possessing people, so she would have to carefully choose who she spoke to.

Professor Cassie broke the snap cup. NO! Not the snap cup! To her, the snap cup represented everything good and all of Professor Cassie's positive energy, as well as all of the positive things that went in the cup. Her happiness was crushed with the cup. Penelope got up and cautiously went over to where the snap cup had fallen. She picked up the broken cup and began to collect all of the bits of parchment that had been in the cup. The professor had asked a question about scrying, but she didn't feel like answering the question right now. Her eyes teared up as she picked up the broken cup and pieces of parchment. Why did Professor Cassie have do be possessed by a mean character in the book, and not a nicer person. Or better yet, Professor Cassie could have been herself for this lesson. It would have been better if Cassie was herself with her usual positive vibes. Yet here she was, picking up all that remained of those positive vibes, not knowing what this new queen might do to them. She hoped that Cassie would wake up before something terrible happened.
Was this a castle worker coming to clean up the messes? She only gave the girl a bit of attention as she went to clean up that silly cup. Ridiculous how many of them were so upset over a cup. She didn't pay anymore attention and went back to the mirrors.

"Well if it shows the future there should be magic words. My magic mirror is very simple." She glanced back at that mirror, "Mirror Mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all?" She waited for the face in the mirror to form, but nothing happened. UGH, they had different magic, but how were they getting it. This was not good. She was not going to let any of them out of this room. Not with this hidden magic.

Turning back to the class she was going to have to get them to show her what they knew. Yes that was exactly what was going to have to happen. "Get up. All of you get up right now. Find a mirror. You will show me how these work." They better show her if they knew what was good for them.

Looking back to a few that did say about this Scrying she figured they would be the best to get some more knowledge out of. "Now this Scrying with Crystal Balls, do you think it can be used on mirrors? If so how could you do it?" Yes she would pretend to ask questions like she didn't know and cared for their thoughts. This was how she would get them to show her.
