“…they’re giving me the Dementor’s kiss.”

His voice was shaky. He was scared. Nervous even. Releasing his clenched fist Everett stared right ahead at the empty wall across from him, doing his best not to look at the man in the cell behind him.

“Dash-”

“Don’t call me that.”

The Dementor’s kiss. It was a criminal sentence that the Ministry had long since done away with after the second world war. But now it was back, for a trial testing.

“….what do you think about that…”

Dash turned eyes cold, glaring directly at his former partner. “It’s what you deserve.”
