20. Knitting Charm

Their Charms and COMC class was being held outside. And it was snowing very, very lightly. A brisk icy wind greeted him, making him shiver with each footstep he took. The boy could still feel the biting wind underneath all of the layers he wore. The snow crunched softly underneath his shoes with every step he took. He found the two Professors waiting for the class and greeted them warmly. He didn’t know either one of them. Fuller was wearing a nice blue knitted scarf and a warm jacket. That was a really nice scarf. Simon wondered if it was hand-knitted or if the Professor had used a charm on it. He’d have to ask Fuller later. “Good morning, Professors. I’m Simon Holden. How are you?” he asked as he gripped his bag tighter and looked around for a seat. Lucky for him, there were plenty available as he was one of the first students to arrive.

“Good morning. Nice to meet you Simon,” replied Fuller with a small smile. “Cold.” Thompson nodded.

Simon shoved his hands into his pocket. It was a bad habit. “Yes, it is cold this morning, isn’t it?” More students piled in.
