It was bad. Really bad. There was a nasty gash on Adi’s left knee. Blame it on the piece of sharp wood he had fallen on. The pain was intense and the ooze of blood made it even worse to look at. Adi gritted his teeth, grabbed the cricket ball he had been after and limped back to his team mates.
That’s the game of cricket for you. Loads of injuries and this was probably Adi’s worst yet. He got the wound cleaned, managed to stem the ooze and get back into the game. A “little scratch” wouldn’t stop him.
