| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... As she waited leaning against the kitchen counter, Cassie sipped her hot chocolate. She felt good to be in the kitchen. Not that she ever really was in a kitchen. No at home her stove held shoes, not food. So the reasons he was in enjoying the kitchen was certainly for the warmth. Her tower was just too cold and it showed by her snuggie. SPOILER!!: Hello and Welcomes
Seeing the first student walk in the Divination Professor grinned, “Simon, hello. I’m doing splendid. Hope you are doing well. Don’t thank me, thank the wonderful house elves that made it.” She really couldn’t take the credit, but he did get snaps for bringing his proud moment up.
Looking up she saw Adi come in and gave him a little wave. “Good afternoon Adi, don’t thank me, thank the house elves. They made it to make sure we are all nice and warm.” It was very good hot chocolate too. She highly enjoyed it. He received snaps as well once he brought up his parchment.
Seeing another familiar face Cassie grinned, “Hello Jasmine. I hope you are doing well.” Watching the young lady get up to place her parchment in the cup, Cassie gave her snaps as well. Snaps were always a happy fun thing. She just loved bring joy and excitement.
Grinning still as another student made his way in Cassie was happy to see Ethan. “Hello, hope you are enjoying your afternoon so far.” Even with the cold she really hoped the students were doing well. She gave him snaps as he put his parchment into the snap cup. “Oh thank the house elves they made it. I’m just glad you all like it.” Speaking of like she took another sip from her mug. SPOILER!!: Lux
It was so warm in the kitchen, and Lux was in a great mood. Bay was awake again and she had gotten to speak with him earlier that day. He wasn't totally better yet, but it was a huge start. And that Chort that had hurt him would pay for what he did. Yep.
"Hello, Professor Cassie!" Beaming at the woman, she made her way towards a seat. On her way she spotted Jasmine, Adi, and Ethan. "Hey, guys!" Awww, and there were house elves. They got big smiles as well.
Sitting down, she saw the cup and immediately knew what she was supposed to do. On a piece of parchment, she wrote:
Quote:
Today I am HAPPY because my boyfriend woke up and I got to talk to him.
Yeah, that wasn't a proud moment, but she didn't care. It was a happy moment, and it was what she wanted to write about. Getting up, she dropped the paper into the cup then made her way back to her seat.
Professor Cassie smiled towards Lux who came in next. “Good day Lux, how are you?” She seemed happy and that just made Cassie happy as well. Giving the girl snaps as she placed her parchment into the cup.
Seeing another student come in Cassie smiled towards the girl. Though she didn’t speak it didn’t matter she still got a very happy snaps as she brought her parchment to the snap cup. “Welcome to class today.” She was very happy to see everyone. SPOILER!!: Benjamin
nother Divination lesson...and Benny found himself heading there without some of the hesitance he had had the last time. Maybe it was the fact that this class didn't have to do specifically with Valentine's day. Or the change in location that didn't involve heading all the way back up to one of the towers after traveling down from Gryffindor. Or something else entirely. Regardless, the third year lion traveled downstairs to the kitchens like the fortune cookie had mentioned, his satchel of supplies slung absently over his shoulder.
When he arrived there were just a few students around, including his best friend. As well as the professor and a couple of house elves. No bother, the kitchens were their home...right? Though still, he wondered as he took a mug of hot chocolate for himself, just what they might be there for during the lesson.
"Hello Professor," he greeted the woman, moving to take a seat at the table Adi was at. "Hey," he greeted the Hufflepuff with a light smile. Was it him or had they not been spending that much time together lately despite being cooped up. They needed to remedy that pronto. For now, he had to write something for the cup and Benny picked his brain for an idea of what to put, finally scribbling it on a scrap piece of parchment and dropping it off before returning to his seat.
“Well hello there” Cassie beamed at the next student into the room. “How are you this wonderful afternoon?” It was wonderful, because they were having class in the kitchen and that made it all fabulous. He was getting snaps as well for bringing up his parchment.
Another quiet one, well Cassie didn’t mind quiet. She just gave the boy a huge grin and a small wave. “Good afternoon, thank you for coming to class today.” It was always nice to appreciate students, they worked hard learning. She gave him snaps as he brought his proud moment to the snap cup.
Oh look it was Penelope, she gave the young Ravenclaw a smile and wave. “Hello dear, how are we doing today?” She made a note to talk to a house elf to make sure that Penelope got a different recipe so that she could have fun with the other students without dealing with her allergy. There was always away around things.
She looked up as she heard someone else say her name. Grinning at the Slytherin she gave a wave. “Hello Grayson, very good at Gobbstones the last match. I don’t know the sport well, but enough to know you were fabtastic at it.” She gave him snaps as he brought his parchment up to the snap cup as well. “Please thank the house elves they took the time to make it.” She was just drinking it of course.
Cassie kept her huge smile on her face as she smoothed out her snuggie. Green eyes lifting as more students came into the room. “Good afternoon Zander, hope you are doing well.” She watched as he took his seat and gave him snaps as he brought his parchment to the snap cup. “I am more than well Kace, but thank you for asking. I hope you are doing well as well.” She beamed as she greeted the Hufflepuff. Giving him snaps as he brought his parchment up. “Oh you wouldn’t be thanking me if I really made it, please thank our adorable house elves, they work so hard for us.” “Ahh Miss Cambridge, Good Afternoon. I hope you are well today.” She beamed at the girl wondering if there would be anymore misunderstandings. She assumed there wouldn’t be and gave her snaps as she placed her parchment in the snap cup. “Make sure you get some hot chocolate dear.” It was warm and yummy.
As another student came in Cassie moved from her leaning spot and waved, “Hello, good afternoon. Welcome to Divination.” She was so happy to see everyone. Giving the girl happy snaps as she brought her parchment to the snap cup. It was just exciting to see everyone have proud moments.
Giving a smile and wave to the next student that came in, “Hello, thank you soo much for coming today.” She beamed and snapped as the girl brought her parchment up to the snap cup. “Please thank the house elves they made this wonderful treat.” She couldn’t take thank you’s for something she didn’t do.
As another student came into the room, Cassie beamed and waved, “Hello, Welcome to class today. I hope you are doing well.” This was just her happiest time getting to see all the students and begin her lesson. She was sooo excited for the days lesson. “Emmylou, how are you?[“ Oh was she rhyming a bit, the Divination professor thought she was. A little giggle and wave, “I’m just doing fabtastic. I can’t wait to get us all started on this ah-mazing lesson.” It was sooo exciting that she had to give snpas before Emmy even brought her parchment up. Though she got snaps then too of course.
Another student entering the kitchen got a nice smile and wave, “Good afternoon, I hope you are staying warm.” That was the big question for everyone. It was a horrible winter and to think it was May, they were still frozen in. She was a bit nervous about this fact. Though she tried really hard not to let it show. The young lady certainly got snaps for bringing her parchment to the snap cup.
Seeing two more student coming into the class, Professor Cassie eyed them with a soft smile. A couple most likely. Not that it mattered any, “Hello, I hope you are doing well. Staying warm?” If not there was plenty of hot chocolate. Looking at Cinna she fully grinned, “I am just wonderful. Of course how couldn’t I be with class today.” They were in for such a treat. She snapped as the young girl brought her parchment up, but eyed the boy who seemed to be just sitting. Well the snap cup wasn’t for everyone she supposed. SPOILER!!: House elves
Argyle was most pleased to be helping out the Professor and studentses in their lesson today, yes she was. Cooking was almost as fun as fun as cleaning floors. The little elf bustled around the kitchen getting everything prepared and all in order.
When the studentses started arriving, Argyle made extra sure the workstations they sat at were all clean and sparkling. Argyle fussed around them happily, pleased to be of assistance.

Pips loved all the studenties, but studenties made Pips nervous. He hurried around pulling out bowls and ingredients.
He glanced at the nice blonde professor and surely didn't mean to. Hiccuping more he hurried and hit his head off the counter. Avoiding all studenties eyes he hurried around to help make things perfect.

Carrying a big bag of flour nearly as large as he was, Toddles wandered into the part of the kitchen that Missus Cassie was teaching all the studentsies today. He was so excited to be helping out and having some fun with them. Oh and look! There was Pips and Argyle already there hurrying to get everything nice and ready. He peeked at them with his big eyes over the bag of flour. They were moving so fast about the kitchen that they were making Toddles dizzy. But he was trying to be a good little elf like they were, yes he was! As long as he could still have fun too.
"Please be excusing Toddles, Missus Cassie." The youngest House Elf moved closer to the blonde lady and managed to tug on her blanket dress as he juggled the bag of flour in his arms. "Where would you like Toddles to put this flour?" Oops, he was starting to lose its balance and a puff of flour cloud came out of the bag as he nearly dropped it. Maybe right here would work!
Naaaaasty, ugly studentsies in his kitchen. Algamus narrowed his beady, little eyes at all the childrensies. With their sticky fingers and their disorder. He wanted to keep them all out of his kitchen so his elvsies didn't get distracted, yesm. Nothing was worse then a happy house elf; it made them messy. Headmistressie looooooved when Algamus kept things in order. And he loooooved to keep the Mistress happy.
He was a good house elvsie.
Not like Pips, Toddles and Argyle. Worthless houselvsies. Worthless.
He grumbled, "You speak nicey to the missus, Toddles. No tugging, yesm?" That was rude.

Cassie watched the busy house elves until she felt tugging on her. Looking down she beamed at the smallest one. Coughing on the cloud of flour, “Toddles you are doing just an amazing job. The flour looks perfect there.” She glanced up just to see Pips hitting his head, “Oh Pips dear don’t hit your head. You are fine making eye contact.” She hated the house elf rules, they were so awful. She wished she could get them away from the self-punishment. As she heard another voice she turned to Algamus, “He is being super sweet. Don’t worry. You all are being wonderful. Thank you so much.” She was very grateful for the house elves, especially today.
Looking at her watch Cassie knew it was time to get started. Just leaving the door open in case a student needed to come in late, she turned to the rest of the group. “Hello everyone, good afternoon! I hope you are all happy to be here. I know I am.” She snapped with enthusiasms. “The Divination Tower is just so cold that I thought we would find somewhere warmer and do a fun activity. First off let’s look at our Snap cup and get the positive vibe flowing through the room.”
She pulled out the first parchment, “I worked up the courage to do something that I have been putting off for a very long time.” She started snapping, “Snaps for courage!! Make sure you are snapping for your fellow classmates.” Snapping made the event even better. Pulling out another parchment, “I'm proud that I actually got up and went to this class. Really, really proud. PS. You look lovely today, ma'am.” She snapped again, “Snaps for getting up and thank you, I thought my Pink Snuggie and pink heels were just fab together.” Reaching her hand in she pulled out another parchment, “I'm proud of surviving this storm. Giving this one snaps she had to agree, “Snaps for surviving the storm. I think we all should do extra snaps for that.” They were all troopers being in the castle so much. One by one she pulled out the parchments and read the proud moments. Snapping after each of them. Once she was finished she vanished the cup. Snapping once more, “Bravo all of you, this was just wonderful. It’s great to get the positive filling the room before we start.”
Speaking of starting, the blonde moved to be in front of them. “You will see our wonderful elves working hard while we chat a bit.” She gave them one more glace. “Can anyone tell me anything about the last lesson we had? What did we learn about?” She knew the answer, but she wanted them to explain. Cassie has read all the proud moments to the class, for length of my post I used a number generator to pick the ones that I actually typed, but she did read them all XD
