“Are we going for ice-cream now?” Kyroh asked circling his father.
“Riiigght now. Just have to find my wallet.” Could he have left it back at the castle?
“Will Althea be there?”
Dash froze, his jaw clenching slightly. “No. She won’t be.”
“How come?”
“Because.”
“Can we invite her? She’s my friend!”
“She’s busy.”
Kyroh was silent for a moment. “You don’t like her?”
“She’s…an acquired taste.”
“Like ice-cream?”
“Nothing at all like ice-cream.”
“She’s pretty.”
Well THAT he could not deny. “What do you know about girls being pretty? You’re five.”
Kyroh shrugged. “Ice-cream is pretty too.”
“Certainly is.”
