Apparently the professor had it covered, though. He'd better. Dima was her ally and if he suffered, she was going to be MAD. Just saying. "Maddie, Sir." Not you. Her name was Maddie. WAIT, WHAT? WHAAAAAT? The small brunette's face remained impassive but she thought that having to do something for the guy who couldn't even do a simple water spell was ridiculous. WAIT, could she TEACH him that spell as one of her nice things? She totally could cause SHE knew how to do it. Smirks for him, yup.
P.S. Maddie would have been impressed with Dima's sad kid act if he hadn't given away that they didn't even TAKE this class. Yeah, way to add insult to injury, D-man. The first year simply stood there watched the scene unfold and even gave Dima a reassuring smile when he tried to take the blame. She appreciated that part, actually. A lot.
SCOFF. MADDISON ARABELLA COOPER WAS NO ONE'S SIDEKICK. "Sure thing, Professor. Looking forward to it." Only not really. The Ravenclaw glanced at the boy she'd need to do nice things for briefly before reaching over and tugging on Dima's sleeve. Could they go? Eyes for the professor. Good, good, at least the girl seemed to have the common sense of a student. Botros patted her shoulder, encouragingly, "That's good. You may leave the torch and return to your dorms. I'll send a Patronus to Mr. Kitridge letting him know to expect you there." Because it was well past nine and definitely their curfew time.
To the rest of the class, Ab made sure everybody had the fire was on everybody's torches and not bodies. The Stark kid seemed to handle himself alright, still the professor called out to him, "If you need to skip the rest of the class, son, you can." Botros' coat, though... yeah, pay attention to THAT, please.
"Everyone ready? Get behind me!" Botros moved to the huge double doors, a torch in one hand and his wand in the other. The doors started creaking and slowly opening up for them. "Keep your torch high, it'll help you illuminate our path, stick closely together until we make it down to the lake. If your flame dies, chant the Kenaz Galdr again and it will come back strong. If you need me, get next to me before you ask me something." Because he'd be leading them, naturally. ooc: - This is the last portion of this class, lesson will wrap up in around 48 hrs.
- There will be narrator posts that you should react to, regarding the marching in general.
- I will be playing with you all the way, so Botros is always here.
- 3 creative, fun posts is how you get full credit for this one.
- Have fun! |
