reaching for a torch he managed to grab one with out falling on some ice.. he placed it in his hand with his rune stone and he wasn't sure if he need to chant at the same time he was holding everything.
Raising his hand he asked "Sir.. do we chant the same time were holding our stone and wand?" "Yes, when you're holding them both." That was what he'd just said, wasn't it? Still, he was okay with clarifying it for the boy. This one was a good boy. He didn't set people on fire. SPOILER!!: Maddie & Dima Quote:

Experiences like this could teach you a lot and here is some of the things Maddison had taken away: 1. Dima was never ever EVER to be trusted with fire. Imagine if this had happened in that place where they had the thing with the other person? They all would have went up in flames so yes, no fire. That was going in the BOOK. The special one. The one they had for reasons. 2. The boy they Dima had set on fire wasn't really that bright. Or well, he WAS because he was on FIRE but NOT because he was smart. He'd apparently forgotten he was a wizard from the time he'd been lit until now because he hadn't once attempted to use his wand to stop the flames. Interesting, that was. Perhaps this little accident would teach him to use it in the future and for THAT lesson, Dima should be THANKED. UH-HUH. And look at that, he was WET. Looks like he was safe after all. 3. Nigel and Mo were cool. She approved SO much because MO had started chanting louder to cover for them, she KNEW, and NIGEL was laughing at the thing. See? It wasn't THAT big of a deal. 4. People at Hogwarts did NOT respect your personal space. The hugging with Kyroh and Dima was BAD ENOUGH but NOW she had an old man professor HOLDING HER HAND. Unnecessary! She could follow him WITHOUT the help, THANK YOU. And NOW she was expected to hold Dima's hand and SIGH. Just. UGH.
Begrudgingly slipping her hand into Dima's she tugged him along with the same power Botros was using to tug her. She bit her lip when the Runes dude whacked Nigel on the head, fighting laughter. Did Dima SEE that? She didn't know that was allowed in school but HEH. COOL. Also, Dima's tears would totally be appreciated right now. Maddie had been in trouble enough times with her parents to not get emotional over punishments but Dima, he LOOKED like a crier. PLUS Dima was cute so if he used those two things to their advantage, MAYBE he could get them out of this.
...Waterworks, please? It WAS his fault, after all.
Like those two little ones. Botros let go of the girl's hand and looked at them both with disappointed, serious eyes. "I'm sure you know that not listening to the professor have consequences. I told you not to light the torch. You should not have lit the torch. You!" He pointed at the boy (lemon) with the torch. "You'll have to say yes to all requests people ask of you for the next three days." Botros pointed a finger at him warningly, "I'll give you something that will help you with that." He had pendants and runes that could track intentions, he could make this work. Mhmm.
"And you." He pointed at the boy's sidekick (TakeMeToTheBurrow). "You should learn how to step up to your friends more than your... not friends." Foes seemed such a strong word for their age. "You'll have to do three nice things to Mr. Stark over there to make it up to him that you participated in setting him on fire." Nodnodnod.
NOW.
Ab turned to the rest of the class, "Light your torches with Incendio, and watch the glowing runes give the flame a sustainable energy. We're marching outside in a line in a bit." He gave the two troublemakers a nudge towards Barrington. "Go on, stick with your Prefect for the rest of the class." ooc: - you can still chant the galdr if your character thinks the flame on the torch is weak.
- Lesson will resume tomorrow again!
