I didn’t get the chance to do it earlier because…” he trailed off as he pointed at the open double doors. “Early winter and stuff.” He’s in a great mood, all right? And why wouldn’t he be? This man’s got a crup, and that he could actually borrow his pet and take him for a walk, so he definitely should be on his good side, yeah?
Ethan sidled towards the wall and leaned his back on it as they waited for the rest to arrive. He didn’t want to sit down, though. Standing was so much better because he’ll be able to have movement to keep him warm. The Slytherin casually got his wand out and casted the hot air charm he learned from Professor Bentley, on himself. “Aaah. Much better.” He can share the warmth if Botros wants? Whoooaaahahaha. Such an enthusiastic ball this one, wasn't he? Botros smiled widely at the Slytherin kid. So considerate of him to remind the old professor of his name, too! Ab should make this a rule for every lesson.
"Sure, he'd love that!" He answered about the Crup, and watched the boy do a nifty charm to warm himself up. Aww poor thing, they were getting heat in a few alright. Quote:

"Too much Isa, sir?" He said by way of greeting and grinned at the old man and then, noting there weren't enough places to sit, he found a spot against the wall where he could comfortably lean. "Indeed." Ab gave the seventh year a broad smile, suspecting that Odessa had already guessed which rune they were going to study today. Quote:

Hope the cold is not bothering you as much as me"
Winter was terrible. Nigel leaned against the wall next the the younger slytherin and copied his smart idea.
Hot air was beautiful right now. The prefect had the right to be bothered. "My knees would agree with you, Mr. Barrington." They were bothered alright. Quote:

Oh well, she was in good spirits minus being the kind of cold that no matter how many layers you had on it didn't do much.
Walking over she saw that it was all dudes there and they were all leaning against the wall. Hmm... was that a guy thing? She eyed the desks and decided that surely it was meant for the girls. "Hello professor. I'm AJ Valentine." She was pretty sure that she hadn't seen the man around before. AJ caught Adi's eyes. "Hey Adi." Oh look there was Ethan too. "Hey Ethan!" "Hello AJ, nice to see you here again." He greeted the young girl, so kind of her to remind him of her name too. Quote:

Lex had long become accustomed to kicking her brain into overdrive for that subject even with her brain shutting off for the day around 6:30 pm, right in time for dinner but this was another thing completely. Night. Night and Ancient Runes just when she thought the evening was hers. What a life.
Lex followed the others to the double doors feeling the cold through the coat she'd worn over her robes. It really should be illegal to have class in this weather--at night nonetheless!!! "Good evening Professor. Interesting hour for a Runes class if I do say so myself." Said with a smile of course because hello, this was Botros....with grey hair and no matter how many times she'd seen him since the start of the term it just never got old. Heh, old.
Noting most of the class by the wall and the few chairs Lex just sidled over to the wall, casually leaning against it and waiting. When you saw everyone at the wall, you didn't question it, you simply leaned. Duh. Aaaah, she suspected something, too, hadn't she? Botros gave her the same broad grin he shared with Odessa. "Isn't it?" Quote:

Ancient Runes time. As he approached the Professor, he gave the guy a friendly grin and nod. He liked Botros. The man had let him walk Feo around and Simon certainly loved doing that. "Good evening, Professor Botros! How are you?" he said as he made his way over to Ethan. He grinned when he saw Ethan using the Charm that they had learnt during the Herbology workshop. Hmmm... He should keep that in mind if his fingers or toes started to get cold.
Class would begin any minute. "Evening, son. I'm great, thank you, hope you're well too." The polite Slytherin boy got a gentle shoulder pat as he passed the professor. Quote:

There weren't many seats available, and the boys were against the wall, but she figured that she would rather stand by her boyfriend. So there she was, right beside Bay. "Hey, there." Beam. "I am, thank you." He gave the little girl a small smile as she walked over to sit down as well. The majority seemed to prefer standing by the wall. Interesting. Quote:

"Are you alright today sir?" Angel asked, maybe he taught this subject because he had been around when they were introduced. "Hello, dear. I'm great, thank you." He offered the Gryffindor a polite smile. Quote:

Good Morning Professor I'm Lucy Petersfield.. It' s my first here at Hogwarts..
Then she looked around for a free seat.. "Good evening, Ms. Petersfield." He gave the first year kid a gentle pat on the head when she passed him. Now that the majority of class were here, Botros decided it was time to start this lesson. It was quite late already. Clearing his throat and giving the stony floor quite few clicks with his cane to get the attention of everyone, Ab started in a loud and clear voice.
"Today, we're going to focus on one rune. We're talking about the Elder Futhark alphabet as usual." He stood, his back to the double-doors, and leaned both his hands on his cane. "Which rune do you think we're going to explore thoroughly tonight? Take our surroundings in consideration before you answer. Only mention the name of the rune." He eyed some smartypants, he didn't want them to do the explaining for him. ooc: - class is officially started, anyone who arrives after this post will be considered late and is subject to point deduction.
- Your charrie doesn't have to give a correct answer, participating in a lesson includes wrong (not illogical) answers.
- we'll resume in 14 hrs max. |
