He was glad she was there, not because he was afraid of West, but because how she amused him by being all proud about this 'mentor/protege' thing. If only...
"For school bonding, Mr. Odessa!" he exclaimed dramatically, "for building trust bridges among each other. And Sophie's right: If I had to name a person whose potion you can completely trust, I'd name her. She really is great. But of course, I can't force you. If you want to sit out, be my guest." Although he was being dramatic, he also meant what he was saying: he thought that this Slytherin suspicion, while proving vital at most cases, was also a man's worst enemy.
C'mon, West. Don't sulk, even if you're granted the permission to do so.

Cosgrach dramatically sighed and looked HURT, because he took that as Kyroh didn't trust his potion skills. He was hurt, and he didn't try to deny it, but he also didn't say anything about it.
"I mean, you don't have to," he said in this hurt voice, "no, you don't." That man could act. Or live the emotions extremely. Or both. "And this won't affect our relationship. I mean, what can I do if you admit you're a sissy, right?"
Right. And he even could have got a chance to arm wrestle with the PROFESSOR.
"Just know that you're missing your chance to boast like, 'Hey, I beat Professor COSGRACH!' Because I'd have played with you. But now..."
After a dramatic sigh, he turned away. OOC: Those that will do the High striker don't need a partner. I'm sorry that part wasn't clear enough. And while you can RP both the arm-wrestling and High Striker, you will only get credit from one of them (the one of your choice).
I'm also sorry if you needed the professor but I've missed you. I'll be around for a few hours, so I can get back to you if you poke me. :3
