19. Wand
Dax was anxious and excited at the same time. He’d be getting his own wand today and with a wand he’d be able to do magic. Not at home but that didn’t matter because he was going to school!! Finally, learning magic and being able to do the things Freya told him about. While waiting his turn in line, Dax was bouncing eagerly on the balls of his feet. Suddenly his excitement turned to dread as something came to mind. What if he got a girl’s wand? They’d all laugh at him then he’d never make friends…except with girls. Ugh.
