If there was one thing Dax prided himself on, it was never getting into trouble because of one reason or another. See, he was a good kid that told on others. That automatically got you favours with teachers and the Headmaster who he’d never gone to see personally. Why you may ask. Simple, people died in there—then they got detention afterwards and you didn’t even wanna know what happened down in those dungeons.
No, Dax was content enough sending others to the Headmaster then bolting afterwards. Snitching was risky business; one could almost always expect a broken nose after.
