25. Sorting Hat
Abraham’s brother had told him about how big and scary the Sorting Hat was, he said it ate someone’s hair once leaving them bald and the school’s joke for a whole term. For once, Ab didn’t want his hair to be shaved off! And second, he didn’t want his first year at Hogwarts to be such an embarrassment when he’d tell his grandchildren about it.

Now, he stood there feeling hundreds of eyes on him, sweat ran down his back. He sat down and squeezed his eyes shut.
