Hehehe. Quote:

Cosgrach made his way to Capt'n Alice Fischer when she asked a question. He felt much less grumpy now, thanks to the compliments and it showed. "It does," he said, "because the roots have to be added quickly. The potion shouldn't stay on heating for more than necessary." Did she want to see what happened if they kept it? He didn't. Quote:

Even if the boy had requested help in the previous lesson, Cosgrach didn't remember; then there were compliments coming his way, so he was safe from rage. Instead, Cosgrach calmly--really calmly--approached him to peek and see what it was. "Yes, child?" He could see what it was, the shade of purple wasn't quite correct, but he wanted the boy to confirm it. Quote:

Please help, I'm scared", Oichi said as she cowered under the desk behind her just in case her potion blew up which it looked like it may do. 'Huge problem'? The last time he heard that word-- "Whoa!" the man exclaimed, drew his wand and vanished it all juuuust in time it had started leaking out. He frowned deeply. His good mood and calmness? FORGOTTEN. LOST. Now, he was bubbling up! "Elaborate please, Miss." HOW it happened, whereas every other potion seemed to be behaving?
Good gracious.
Cosgrach was addressing to the class again from somewhere in the middle, but he didn't stop while talking this time. Instead, he kept on walking slowly in the aisles among the desks. His tone was a slightly louder for everyone to hear it, and he spoke slower than usual for them to fully understand. "Our last two steps," he said, "are: crush the sopophorous beans with pestle and mortar and add their juice." He paused, eyed them all and only continued when he deemed it was clear. "Stir 5 times counter clockwise with wooden stirrer and turn off the heater. Then you wait." He eyed them all again. WAIT. Do NOTHING, but wait. "Wait for it to precipitate, that is," they could probably sense his irritation for having to explain the word, "for the particles to sink to the bottom of the cauldron. The precipitate--the solid part--that we will actually use should be sparkling, light pink. The liquid part that we will either wait for to evaporate or pour it down the washbasin should still be lime green. So you WAIT for a few minutes, then you either pour the liquid away or wait for it to evaporate. You can also use magic to vanish it, but it's not my problem if you vanish the solid part as well, and you won't get any credits then." Oh yeah. He would enjoy giving them '0' on this assignment. It was certainly the easiest number to write. "You apply it on your skin like any cream," he said as they were working on the last steps. "It will be effective for 3-4 weeks depending on your skin, but I should warn you: the wrinkles will reappear suddenly after the potion wears off, whether in your sleep or while conversing with your lover, is unpredictable." He smirked nastily, then. "You can use it as many times as you want without any side effects. You may also apply it on animals, but it kills plants." He looked finished then and moved to sit down for the first time since they'd begun brewing the potion. Quote:

10. Stir 5 times counter clockwise with a wooden stirrer and turn off the heater. Wait for a few minutes until it precipitates (the solid part seperates from the liquid and sink to the bottom). The solid part's colour should be sparkling, light pink and liquid, lime green. Afterwards, either wait until the excess liquid evaporates or pour it down the washbasin.
11. Apply on bare skin. Notes- The skin will be smooth like a baby's for three or four weeks (depending on the skin), but they will reappear suddenly after the potion wears off.
- It may be used as many times as you want, because it doesn’t have any known side effects.
- It may be used on animals too, but it kills plants.

After waiting for a while in silence, except when someone called him, Cosgrach addressed to the class again. Most of them should be finished now. "If you don't have any questions, you may leave after you've finished. Check your notice boards for homework, for which, I suggest, you should stay to have a little discussion on the term 'beautiful' and the necessity of beautifying products." Yeah. Discussion. Even though... anyways.
He waited for those who wished to leave. He hoped none would, but this wasn't a part of the class. He just wanted to speak with them. OOC: I've posted the last two steps together since I couldn't post last night and to allow you time to catch up, but the thread will be locked* tomorrow at 10 PM GMT, so that gives you 36 hours to catch up and/or RP the last two steps.
There should be 100 mililitres of cream precipitate (for anyone wondering). You may RP your characters' applying it now and compliment Cosgrach's wisdom but it is not mandatory, and will not affect the class points.
The discussion is not mandatory and will not affect the class points as well. It is just the talk of a middle aged man on how corrupted today's beauty sense is. ^____^ So it is up to you to join it.
Because the wrinkles of your characters are unnatural, the potion will only be affective for 3-4 days. Your characters are more than welcome to call him a charlatan ask WHY and we can arrange a RP for that if you wish.
*If there are enough students/is a productive discussion, I won't lock the thread to and keep discussing, but I will not accept brewing-the-potion posts after that time.
Thank you for your participation!
