He wasn't going to admit that he was actually beginning to feel and look old. No no...no more of that...although people would have to be blind not to see the wrinkles on his hands and face and his greying hairs.

"I can't blame them- wrinkles and grey hair has been making me cranky too," she said with a sigh, although for now she had a smile on her lips. IF another wave of aches started, she wouldn't make any promises.

She gave the younger badger an appreciative smile and then focused on her hands. Well, until she noticed Hadley watching.

...Blink.

The eighteen year old gave the woman a weak smile but that was all. Same for when class started and she asked what was going on with everyone. It seemed her classmates had all sort of theories on the subject but all Ella felt was confusion. Besides, she was still hoping this was just some kind of weird side effect from all the worrying over NEWTs and future planning that had been going on.

It had to be that.

Grumpiness running rampant? Wrinkles? Gray hair? Sure she had a couple gray hairs, but she was nearly forty. They were teenagers. So clearly the achyness and exhaustion and angst could just be chalked up to the stress of adolescence. It was just slightly more wearying this term.

...

That was what she was going to tell herself anyway. Teenage angst. It led to all the signs of worry and in turn made them worry more if they hallucinated seeing the things they were worrying about. It was a vicious and endless cycle.

"Uh huh... I see then." She nodded slowly. Was there something else she was supposed to say? Like go see Healer Tillstorm for an anti-anxiety potion? Perhaps she ought to discuss with Cosgrach about teaching these kids to brew their own. Shrugging it off, she smiled consolingly.

"I'll take one"

Sounded Fun.

... wait, what was that? Raising her eyebrow at the Ravenclaw prefect, she frowned. "I apologize. Fresh out. Perhaps though, Professor Culloden will be able to get you one after the lesson, if you're still interested in one."

"Right then. Well today shouldn't be too strenuous." She nodded reassuringly. She would save the more physical lessons for when they were fully functional. "So for our first lesson of the term, I trust many of you are aware of the common means of transportation used by the wizarding community. But today we'll be talking about Muggle Transportation! What are some types of muggle transportation that you know, or at the very least, have heard of off-hand?"
