He scanned ahead and found a seat next to the American witch (Claire Fayard). Well actually it was more like a seat and a half in the form of two chairs but with room only for the one and some of the other. He placed Syndil's plate down next to the seat by Claire and using his wand pulled the chair out for Syndil. He intended to take up a chair behind and besides Syndil's so that once seated he could effectively absorb and block any accidental bumps or interferences from guests should they float over to their table. "We haven't missed much had we, Claire?"
