Oblivious to the world around her - which wasn't much, since she was one of the few skaters out on the rink, - Katie glided around the ice, more for fun than practice. She sped up, slowed down, sped up again, jumped and twirled - completing a simple but graceful spin.

A sigh escaped her, feeling relieved somehow. Skating helped everything, it seemed. Well, most things. Brown eyes gazed around the near empty place, a smile forming on her lips almost instantly at the sight of him.

Skating quickly toward her best friend and his open arms, Katie beamed. "Lando!"
