Losing my mind on a tiny error, I nearly left the real me on the shelf.

Tears rolled like little rivers down her pale cheeks, her arms wrapped protectively over her knees as she pressed her back into a wall in some abandoned corridor.

"What's wrong with me," Lucianna cried to no one but herself, her head resting against the cold stone behind her and a hand reached up to brush blonde strands from her face. "Who am I anymore?"

"You are Lucianna Mae, one of the smartest witches of our year, and kindest one that I know." A voice came not too far from her, causing the youngest Mae to look up. "Sparrow.."

"Who else?"
