"Rumor has it..." Hadley said simply of Jory's question about sharing. Thank you Lex and Ella.

So he wouldn't have his usual ice cream topping, but the alure of the frozen treat was strong enough to get him focused.

Wait what.

"That's okay, Professor. I still had fun," he nodded and flashed a big GRIN as he swung his legs gently under the desk where he sat. "It's kinda sad that you couldn't make it... but I'm super glad you enjoyed hearing it though!"

Bright side. Always a bright side.
"Good, good. Cause you seemed like you were really into it." And like she didn't want to interrupt his commenting halfway through. That'd be kinda like rude and whatnot. Beam.

ONLY TWO FLOORS YAY~

Reaching the classroom, the Prefect opened the door with a briiiiiight smile that seemed to lit up the room, no just kidding and entered. "HAI PROFESSOR!" Oops ..too loud! "Hai Professor Hadley~"

..........................WASTHATICECREAM?!

*STAAAAAAAAAAARE*

And then he heard Jory's question. WAS she sharing? GOOD QUESTION MAN! GOOD QUESTION!
Yes. We see that stare mr slytherin prefect. "Hello Prefect Katharos. Good to see you." Cause it totally was, even if it'd likely be his last Arithmancy class at Hogwarts. Hopefully a good one.

Entering the classroom neat and tidy, Nessie gave one of her favorite Professor's a smile. Hadley had really been with her through all these years. She was special. "Morning, Professor!" That was apparently eating ice-cream. Seriously this school had gone ice cream crazy. But Nessie had to admit she was kind of in the mood of some chocolate frog ice cream now, that was her ABSOLUTE favorite.

Maybe later, cause now she had a lesson. As for seats she wanted to sit in the front, which she did not too far from Alec and Ella. Eyes on those two...but with a smile. Heh.
And there was the head girl and her prefect. "Morning, Renesmee!" Grin.

STARE.

Not Professor Hadley, too!! She was supposed to be the no-nonsense one. UGH. The Slytherin was so OVER ice cream. It was everyone. What even...

"Good morning, Professor." His lips were set in a hard line as he moved to take a set. He was so terribly unimpressed with the ice cream craze. It was turning everyone's brain to mush this term...and there was no time for that. What happened to focusing on academics?
What's up with the disproving look, Mr Cappytain?! Who was the adult here? Mmhm, she thought so. And if she said ice cream was okay in the classroom, then it totally was. Maybe. Twitch.

"Morning, Dylan." Now turn that frown upside down cause this was your last hogwarts arithmancy class too.

The sweet smell filled his nostrils and his stomach started growling.

Hoping that the Professor might share, Asher took a seat towards the front. Better ice cream sharing position.
"Good day!" Fina greeted back to the young Hufflepuff, as he took note of her near empty bowl. "It was good. You'll get yours a little later...."

So he came in "Professor." Oakey said giving her a a nod, then found a seat away from the front. which was not a typical Oakey thing to do in Arithmancy.
Another sour face, but instead of from the Slytherin Captain, this one came from her head boy. Yes she recalled his conversation about sweets or something, but that was before quidditch, wasn't it? She didn't recall any prohibitions of sweets before lessons and even there was, she was the professor, was she not? Yes, she thought so.

"Mr Gunter." She said simply, giving him a wide grin and nod in return.

Of course she wouldn't. Who could refuse ice cream? "Well then, you'll just have to be quick to answer" Grin.

She took a seat, not in the VERY front, but just a row behind it. This seemed like a good spot.
Ah, another student concerned about her sharing. What did they make her out to be - a slytherin? Of course she was going to share cause that's what she did. That's what Hufflepuffs did. They shared with others. "Yes, yes, you will. After." She was just having hers now, before, to give them an idea of what to look forward to.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Do we get it noooow??? Or...or...or like after--either's fine so long as we get it! Do you have chocolate flavoured? Did you bring syrup? Sprinkles? Nuts?--I can run down to the kitchens and get some, it won't take any time at all, honest!!!!"

BOUNCE. BOUNCE. BOUNCE.
In which someone ... was way too enthusiastic about that prospect. Perhaps she shouldn't have shown them what was coming, due to lack of focusing maybe during the lesson. But .... well, if they didn't focus, then no ice cream. Simple.

"Afterwards...." Nod, nod. "I have some toppings yes, but I wouldn't worry about that right now. Cause we're starting..." So like, focus now on numbers. Sweets later.

"So many of you know by now that I'm rather fond of art. Now this might seem surprising, being that I teach numbers, but the two actually have quite a bit in common." A moments pause and Hadley flicked her wand pinning a sketch of a mosaic pattern of triangles and squares on the board. "Often seen in floor and wall tiles, this is an example of a tessellation. Which can be either regular or irregular. The arithmatic part of tessellations comes from principles that you can use to create a tessellation, one example being a translation. What other ways can you create a tessellation?"

ooc: so there's a chance i might not get to post again till tomorrow afternoon cause we fail at planning and whatnot. Sorry =(.
