"Of course, I am concerned about the security of the school and the safety of the students, but these seem like issues that must be brought to the attention of the Board of Governors immediately. They're not included in my list because if I was elected, I'd want to keep them from becoming a long term issue." And they'd asked about long term plans, right? Yes? OKAY, he was done talking now. Had he bored anyone to death? "Thank you." With a beam for the audience, the elderly man returned back to his seat.
