Again, Ivy was very impressed with some of the other candidate's answers. Mostly Althea's, but that was no surprise.

The second question was easy for Ivy. She had no personal problems to attend to. That's what happened when you shut off your feelings. Ivy Knox was a no nonsense, strictly business woman 99% of the time and she wasn't going to let 'personal situations' get in the way of professional matters. But of course, she didn't really want the audience to think she was a soulless body with a black hole heart. So, here it went...

Ivy walked up to center stage again. "We all have personal situations arise that aren't planned or scheduled, that catch us off guard and force us to make quick decisions. For example, some candidates may have family emergencies that may come up and, depending on the severity of it, I believe it is okay to attend to that first. We are human, we have hearts, after all." Merlin, that was bloody hard to get out of her mouth... Ugh.

"I've been teaching for twelve years and there is a fine line between personal and professional. When I'm elected to the Board of Governor's, it will be clear where that line is. Hogwarts comes first to me, no matter what. Hogwarts was there for me when I needed it, and I am going to be there when the students, the professors, and the leaders need me, no matter what." There. Plain and simple. Ivy nodded to the crowd before heading back to her seat.
