Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

The debates were starting, that was made obvious when some guy decided to go parading on the stage giving announcements like he called the shots. He might have, that was true, but for now it was the judges. He smirked a bit at the President of the Board's reaction and noted that of Mr. Taylor's. He couldn't agree more. One didn't try to steal the spotlight when it didn't belong to you, especially when it belonged to him....and the other judges, sure.

He looked at the candidates seated there. Was it bad that he saw nothing particularly special about any of them? They were just people. People who got into politics for their own self-righteous reasons.

Yes, we heard you all say how much you loved the school and the students but in the end that didn't account for much now did it. People were all the same.

He shot a rather unimpressed look at the candidates who hadn't bothered to answer even a single question. How were they going to work for the board if they could barely answer a few simply questions. Then his gaze turned to the ones who had actually bothered to answer. Heh, from what he could tell many of them were a little too confident. Confidence was good but it suited him better, wouldn't you agree? No? Too bad.

Gavin reached for a card and smiled at it just a bit. This one obviously came from a concerned parent. That lot amused him with the way they thought worrying could make a situation any better or worse.

Sigh. Time for him to speak. "Hello everyone, My name's Gavin Isaacs, I work in the Department of Mysteries." Did he need to say more? This wasn't about him afterall as unfortunate as that was. He'd leave it at that.
Quote:
"The question I pose to you is: If you were to be elected onto the board, what would you ensure becomes a priority as far as the long term plans of the Board are concerned?"
But that was only for those who had answered previously. Everyone else needed to search themselves and find a voice before this thing was over. Board of Governors, half these people? Right.

OOC: This is the third question and should only be answered by those who have answered the first two.

For Althea Schirmer, Roxanne Carter, Gavin Higareda: If you were to be elected onto the board, what would you ensure becomes a priority as far as the long term plans of the Board are concerned?

For Nolan Reynolds, Ivy Knox, Cooper Cope, and Erik Vinteren: If a personal or professional situation arose at the same time as an equally important situation arose in the school, which would you deem more important to attend to first, and why?

For everyone else: Why do you feel you are more qualified for this position than the other candidates?
