Ivy was paying attention to each of her competitors carefully, particularly Erik's backside and his well spoken speech. Also, Althea's. Her's was, once again, very well spoken and Ivy would be incredibly surprised if she didn't land a spot on the Board. Ivy also flashed a lovely smile when Althea looked at her. She was a good woman.

When she was ready, Ivy stood from her seat and gracefully and confidently strode up to the front of the center stage. "Good evening, everyone, I am Ivy Knox." but really, they should have known that by then. "To begin, I would like to tell you the first that sets me apart from some of these candidates behind me... I am not soft spoken. If I have an opinion, I will make sure it is heard. I do not let others oversee something I feel is important. I will do whatever it takes to get things done. I am driven, hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about my work, and I promise you all of these things will carry over in full force when you elect me as a Board member. If it hasn't caught on yet, I want to be here. And for some candidates," she said slowly, taking a prolonged glance at Gavin, "I don't know that that can be said so honestly." Just saying, friends...

"Now, in a more literal sense of the word 'qualified'," Ivy then began slowly pacing the stage, a few feet in either direction, just to keep the attendees awake and not bored. Besides, she felt so rigid just standing there still. "If you will recall from the previous debate, not only have I been continuously expanding my education since leaving Hogwarts, I have also been expanding the education of other students, young and old, for the past twelve years. Education is my profession. I want nothing more than to see these students and future students leave with the best education they can possibly receive and be prepared for the real world that lies outside of the castle walls. And when you elect me, Ivy Knox, to the board, I will ensure they get it." Notice she said when, not if. Ivy always had a tone of authority to her voice. That was confidence, people. Ivy gave the crowd another dazzling smile. "Thank you." And then she smoothly returned to her seat.
