After Althea's eye roll inducing speech (during which Roxanne prided herself on keeping her eyeballs completely still, thank you), came Cooper. She had to wonder why he kept SHOUTING FOR EMPHASIS though. Seriously, she was pretty sure that no one in the Ministry was deaf (though, they might be after listening to that), so what was the point? Anyway, on to the next question. As Gavin answered first, she listened intently. And mentally shook her head. None of that was true, if you believed that school rag, anyway. The one that said that International Cooperation was pretty much falling apart at the seems while he was whining about his runaway wife. He really could do with a few lessons from Wes. But there was no more time to ponder this as it was her turn to speak.

She stepped forward with the same cool relaxed demeanor that she had the last time and spoke with the same conversational tone. "Now, I'm not going to lie to you here," she sent a brief look at Gavin here before turning back to the crowd, "but it really depends on what the situations are. If the students are in any danger, then of course I would put everything aside and go to help. But if it's something that it wouldn't hurt to put aside until the next day, then my commitment to my department and my family would come first. That is not to say that my personal stuff is more important than Hogwarts, no. Just that, we may occasionally have differing ideas on what is, in fact, urgent." She paused here to take a breath and to let what she said sink in a bit.

"If example, if the urgent situation at Hogwarts was for a vote on a new professor, and the situation at my job was an alien invasion, well, my job would take precedence, because if it didn't, well, Hogwarts might not be there to even need a new professor." And finished. She walked back to her seat with the same demureness that she had the last time, but inside she was a bundle of nerves. What if the crowd hadn't liked her speech? She had basically just said that some things were more important than Hogwarts! Ugh.....
