Then she heard the first question. What was the thing the professor's dad was holding. Belle already knew it was a Muggle Comic Book. It was also Superman on the cover. It seemed so rare. Belle would have like to get her hands on it and read it.

Then she heard the second question. What was superman's abilities? Belle had to think about this...Belle knew Superman could fly. Belle raised her hand. "Superman has super strength, x-ray vision and flight." she said listing some off.

Then she heard the next question as she was listing Superman's powers in her notebook. Belle raised her hand and knew the answer to the next question. "Superman's real name is Clark Kent." that was an easy one to know.

Nigel had to think about wizards having to hid you they are in the muggle world and how it is the same with super-heroes. It was a cool comparison.

Being the deputy headmaster's kid didn't mean that he could teach, could he? Like, seriously, Ira herself was definitely older than Kyroh. And then just like that, the lesson started with.. Superman? Or Spiderman? And with all these thoughts, Ira had completely skipped the first questions.

And now.. real name? Oh yes, Ira, of course knew it! Being a muggleborn, Superman and other action heroes was one of the very few things that she had in common with the other muggles back home. "Its Kent! That's Spiderman's name." She answered, raising her hand up up up and almost bouncing in her seat. It was a really cute name. "Atleast it was Clark Kent on earth."

She did. He was so irresistibly cute in one way or another.

Anyway, back to the class proper. There were still candidates observing and Scabior was still their professor, watching them. Ok... Superman's real name. Kat's hand shot right up. "He actually has two real names," Kat explained. "His earth name is Clark Joseph Kent but his other name, in his Planet, is Kal-El." Actually, Superman was an alien.

That was scary.

"Kyroh, the name Superman was given by his birth father, Jor-El was Kal-lel. But in order to protect his identity, his adoptive parents called him Clark Kent. But I think that was also to prevent him from getting teased by the other kids."Alyssa explained.

'I mean which kid would want to grow up with a name like Kal-El?' Alyssa thought to herself.

Some people were saying Superman's real name was... Kal-El? Eh? She had never heard of that. "I've also heard it's Clark Kent." She said, agreeing with the others that were saying that. Though Nigel's answer really enlightened her about this Kal-El thing. It did make sense! She smiled at him before turning her head to face the cute ickle boy again, giving him a warm smile as well.

So he just listened to what others were saying cause it seemed that they all had very similar answers, saying his name was Kal-El or something funny like that "What everyone else said" he said after putting his hand up of course, cause they just had to be correct.. yeah? You couldnt have a whole class saying the wrong answers.. right? So he says that everyone was right and that it was that Kal-El business.

He then looked at the bored of this guys super powers, and Dylan's eyes were as wide as saucer. "Cool!" he blurted out without meaning to and immediately pretended to be noting down these superpowers, cause he didnt say anything at all.. nope not him! Man he would LOVE to have all those super powers, that would be so cool to do and to actually have those powers? Amazing!

They'd done a whole year on superheroes and villans last school year.

She raised her hand. Did she have to raise her hand to Kyroh? "It's Clark Kent," she said. She had no idea about all those planet names that Kat was going on about. She just knew the basics, which was pretty much what they'd gone over last school year.

Mhmm..The snake remembered.

So back to the bouncing kid who was giving chocolate frogs...Cassia was eyeing people who got ones. So what was the man's name. The thirteen years old only remembered the 'Clark' part because it sounded cool....She thought. Though while she recalled the name like ALL the class spoke it first. The snake turned to look at her classmates and stared a bit. How come they answer so fast while it took her a while. Meh..At least she remembered...half of the name. "Clark.." She muttered with a shrug not feeling it was necessary but still. And another stare at the students.

He was new after all because she'd never seen him before and he obviously didn't attend any past classes that she was in. Was staring at new things a crime any way? It was fun and he had a nice face. Quite adorable. She liked looking at adorable things too...but only in moderation...short attention span and all that.

She looked to the Professor when he answered her question. It surprized her a bit that he actually bothered to answer so naturally she gave him a wide smile. "That's good to hear!" With that she skipped over to a seat. The lesson was gonna start soon anyway.

NO WAY!

The Kyroh kid was gonna be teaching the lesson! Coool--wait...he wasn't gonna try taking points from them too like his father right? And that brought her to the next thing she would be spazzing out about. The professor had a son???

She looked at the thin book in his hand and was instantly reminded of last year's Muggle Studies class. Did she have to raise her hand for him...she did anyway. "That's a comic book!" She didn't see the need to mention that it was a muggle one...wasn't that kind of obvious?

She thought it was.

Well of course they were smart and Kyroh was plenty smart for realizing that. He was a pretty decent kid who seemed nice and excitable. That was the best combination right there, especially the excitable part. Who didn't like a hyped up kid?

She sat forward on her seat, resting her arms in a folded position on her desk. See? She was even being interested--but only because this didn't have anything to do with history so far and she was more than okay with that.

His next question wasn't too bad either.

"He's got super strength and super speed and a whole bunch of super other things!" That right there was a fact. The dude was superman, he had to have all that and more or he'd be some lame rip-off that got stones hurled at him every time he walked around a muggle market or something by unsatisfied children who'd all gotten their dreams crushed. Duh.

Lex eyed the board suspiciously. Was she supposed to have taken those things down? They were common knowledge for the most part. If it came up again she'd taken them down but for now she'd keep her attention on the 'new' professor.

Pfffffft.

Was that a serious question.

"Clark Kent." She said with a nod. Yeah she knew the answer. She had been knowing the answer for the whole class so far. Professor Scabior needed to take a page out of his son's book. The kid knew how to entertain so naturally she'd be more likely to pay attention. When the Professor did stuff she didn't have a clue what he was going on about!...or maybe that had more to do with the subject matter that he was teaching....

So she just listened to everyone around him and then rose her hand copying answering the question, "Is his real name Clark Kent?" Or was it Clark Gable? MERLIN SHE COULDN'T REMEMBER!

"But he's um...named Clark Kent otherwise by his adoptive parents. WHO are super lucky i might ad. How many people can say they adopted an alien?" Yeah lucky.

She wanted an alien super-person-family member.

Woah. They really DID know a lot.

And since everyone in the class knew his secret identity AND his alien name, it seemed to prove Mo's point. He raised his hand. "Tiny professor, I'm pretty sure I didn't ruin anything, on account of everyone already knew the premise of Superman, and if they didn't, I was just explaining the plot. But I'm sorry if I ruined it for someone, because Superman who is Clark Kent who is Kal-el is a pretty awesome dude."
Tiny Professor? Premise? Hmmm. "You're right!" Kyroh said happily. "Loooots of people know. So it's okay you didn't ruin it!" Kyroh even threw a chocolate frog his way.

Chocolate frog for not ruining stuff!

Unless you're about to tell us that Superman is real and a wizard.....?" She said it in the politest way possible.
Er-....Kyroh blinked. And then scratched his face. His eyes flickered to his father a little defeated.

She didn't want to learn about Superheroes?

It was the second time that the question had been asked and that was TWO times too many for Scabior. "Like I said before which you would know if you were paying attention, it will make sense soon. So if I were you i'd either answer the questions or take take notes." Right? Good.

He flicked his wand once more, updating the board before motioning for his son to go on.

Superman
"Real" Name - Clark Kent Also Kal-El
Powers-
  • Super Strength
  • X-ray vision
  • Heat vision
  • Can Fly
  • Super Speed
  • Super hearing
  • Rejuvenation
  • Eidetic Memory
  • Super everything

-

"Um...." Kyroh looked down at the ground, suddenly sad because...there were some people who didn't want to learn about superheroes. "Um...." Walking over to the desk he grabbed another comic. "So, everyone was right. Almost everyone. But I think that counts for everyone. Superman's real name was Clark Kent but it was also Kal-El." Kyroh said a bit quieter.

If SOME of them didn't want to learn about Superheroes then they could go to sleep. The couldn't learn and sleep right?

"Do you guys know who THIS is?" He asked holding up the comic. The guys real name. Or his superhero name. Or BOTH. He was The BEST MUGGLE Superhero EVER!! So they HAD to know!!

OOC: Joining in after the class has stared is COMPLETELY fine. Catch up posts however are not. "catching up" will not earn you anymore points. In fact there really is no point of them. They only confuse the timeline of the class. So I ask that 'catchup' posts not be posted, just answer the most recent question asked. Thank you!
