32. COMMON ROOM

Alyssa remembered the first time that she entered the Hufflepuff House Common Room. She had just transferred from Salem's Institute to Hogwarts and had felt so alone. It seemed like everyone in the room knew each other. Even the first years didn't seem to have a problem settling in. Everyone except her.

She felt so alone until two girls her age came up to her and introduced themselves. They were Penny Lovegood and Nessie Dixon. They made her feel at home and had even reserved a bed for her in the girl's dormitory.

Alyssa would always be grateful to them.
