Alyssa had read that Dumbledore used a Pensieve to keep the memories that he had over the years.

Then Alyssa thought to herself. "What if I didn't want to keep certain memories, could I just dump them out into the Pensieve?"

"Mom can I get a Pensieve?"

"Why would you want one?"

"I have some memories I don't want to remember. Except for a total mind wipe, that's the only way I know how to get rid of them."

"But some memories help you improve yourself."

"Trust me Mom, these memories, you don't want me to keep."Alyssa grinned back.
