27. OWL

Alyssa walked with her mother into Eeylops Owl Emporium. She was here to find a friend. One that would remain with her for the rest of her life...depending of course who lived longer.

She walked around looking for the perfect one. She saw Barn, Tawny, Screech, Brown and Snowy Owls. They all looked beautiful, but she still hadn't found the one that she could call friend.

Then she rounded a corner and saw the smallest of them all. A little Snowy Owl. Alyssa ran over to it and knew that she had found her friend.

Polaris, her Snowy Owl.
