18. WHOMPING WILLOW

It was Christmas and Alyssa was determined to decorate this tree. She had dragged out the decorations: the various colored glass baubles, the different colored tinsel and the red ribbons. She was now ready for the task at hand.

Looking up at the tree, Alyssa took out her wand and with a wave of her wand, she levitated the first bauble into place.

"Will you keep still, I'm only putting up decorations, so that you will look nice and festive like the other trees here in Hogwarts."

The Whomping Willow waved its heavy branch. It didn't want to look pretty.
