I've returned

I'm going to make shorter chapters; but they will still have lots of content- it'll be a novella!

Chapter Three
The Turning Point

Harry landed in the atrium. Dizzy and windblown after the portkey ride, he headed for the lifts. He boarded the nearest one and pulled the lever for level two. The heavy iron gate slid shut, and the elevator rocketed upwards until it skidded three hallways ahead and stopped. As Harry stepped onto level two, one of the interns came running up “Harry, I know it’s short notice; but there’s someone waiting for you in your office” he said, “they say it’s urgent”. This was odd, clients usually came in the afternoon. But; whatever the problem was, Harry would make sure a report was filed and all the client's needs were met. “Thank you” replied Harry, nodding his head and gently smiling.

Leaning back in his chair, legs spread wide; both arms on the armrests; and a newspaper in his hand sat none other than Ron Weasly. “Ron!” Harry exclaimed, as he sat down behind the desk. He had not heard from any of his friends in months; but why had Ron come to his work and not just sent him an owl? “Harry, have you seen the prophet!” Ron said, sitting up eagerly, holding out the exact article Harry had read this morning. It was as if he were avoiding introductions and getting straight to the point. “Yes, um; I have. So what have you come to tell us about?”Harry said, turning to grab a quill and parchment to beguing filing a report. Ron continued to point at the paper “look, dark wizard attacks muggle borns” he continued. “Ron, if this is the event you’ve come to tell us about, the ministry had begun looking into it” Harry continued. Ron was not yet convinced “you don’t understand. We could go after this wizard, without the ministry. It’ll be just like old times” he said. Old times were not exactly a choice, Harry went after Voldomort because he had to; not because he wanted to go on an exploration or adventure. Ron, might be wrong.

“I don’t think so” Harry said calmly, he did not want to make his friend upset “we should catch up, I get off work at-" .“Oh come on Harry” Ron protested, he was not quite getting the message “we can catch this guy better then any official at the ministry. It’ll be you, me, and Hermione. Just like old times”. On second thought, this seemed like a good idea. Something about this case did seem like it called for the golden trio. It was similar to the quest they went on as teenagers. Whoever was behind the attack looked as though they had the same ideas as Voldomort. “Alright” Harry said “sounds like a plan”.
