11. HISTORY OF MAGIC

Alyssa studied her textbook, A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot. It had been almost a decade since she last opened that book.

"What are you reading, Mom? Can I have a look?" Sydney asked her mother.

Alyssa handed over her book to her 6 year old daughter.

"Wow, Mom. The stuff in this book is really old. All this happened before you were born."

"I know Sydney. That's why it's called a history book."

Sydney frowned for awhile before asking. "Can I see the other one?"

"Which one, Sydney?"

"If this book is His-story, I want to see Her-story."
