80. Author’s Choice- The Dentist Appointment
The old fan was creaking eerily above the 11 year old’s head. At a time like this she might have tried biting her fingernails if it weren’t for the fact that she had a chocolate bar firmly gripped in her hands. This was an important appointment and the more she thought about it was the more she munched away at the cavity builder.

“Lex, stop, we’re about to head in.” Her father said.

She looked to him. “I know…but he’s gonna tell me I have cavities anyway so can’t my teeth and I just enjoy our last bit of happiness?”
