“Good morning Professor,” Beezus greeted upon entering the classroom. Oh, look! He got his skin tanned. “You look magnificent today.” She supplemented with a grin.

"Magnifissent...?" he repeated, followed by a firm, “No.”

Beezus gave him a questioning look. What no?

"You vill not... vas is de vord... crash on me. I do not like zat." The Professor added before she could inquire.

Was she going deaf, because it sounded like he was telling her not to have a crush on him. Her? Having a crush on him? When she can barely understand a word he was spouting?
