24. House Elf
“Hey there little guys…” Alexa said as she snuck into the kitchen. It didn’t surprise her that they would be in here and actually she was glad they were still up. When they turned to look at her she gave them a smile. “Would there happen to be any cookies down here that I could munch on or have?”

When one smiled and pointed to the oven she returned the smile with more than a hint of relief.

“Great, because I’m promised this puffer I’d give him some cookies if he kept his mouth shut about me sneaking down here.”
