13. Quidditch

“Ravenclaw’s leading by 85 points!” the commentator announced. Cheers and shouts filled the Pitch and Beezus punched the air with overflowing enthusiasm. They were close to winning….they had a chance to win the Cup…..if only the Snitch would appear now……

Suddenly, she could see gold flickering right between her eyes. IT WAS THE SNITCH! Mobility failing her, she stared at it motionlessly. She could grab it… but she can’t….shouldn’t….because she wasn’t a Seeker.

“Watch out Castell!” she heard someone yell.

.. … …. TOO LATE.

A bludger hit her on the side as her senses were slowly engulfed by darkness.
