45. Licorice Wand
“I could really do with a Licorice wand.” Lex mused as she and her bestfriends, Will and Jeremy, sat on her front step.

“Ooo is that like that wand that tastes like licorice and grants candy spells?” Jeremy tried. He turned out to be the only one laughing at his little joke. Alexa and Will exchanged glances. “What? Oh come on, you guys know that was funny.”

The two snickered.

“I think it’s more embarrassing than funny if you ask me.” Lex giggled. “And I think you’d find that candy wishes don’t cause as much harm as they need to.”
