72. Vex
The 11 year old was clearly upset. Her pout was present and her arms folded tightly at her chest. There would be no amusement park for her today. Her father walked in and couldn’t help but want to fix that. “Don’t be so vexed, we can go another day.”

She sighed, ready to whine. “But I wanted to go today… this is all Amanda’s fault!”

“Sweetheart she broke her leg, remember?”

“Yeah on the day I’m supposed to have the best day ever she magically breaks her leg.”

“…You were running through the house and accidentally knocked her down the stairs…?
