40. Spell
Lex walked into the kitchen and found her least favourite person in the world. Today this wouldn’t bother her because she was much too excited about other things. Putting on a wide smile she walked over and gave her a warm hug.

“Amanda, I’m so glad I found you! You’re the best step-mommy in the world and I could really use your smarts and skills.”

Clearly flattered to the point where she had forgotten all the evils of the 11 year old, she smiled. “Oh, of course, anything Alexa.”

Alexa released her and drew for her wand. “Great, go stand over there so I can try out this new spell I learnt on you.”
