70. Spook
Alexa and Will walked into the kitchen for some sodas. She saw her step-mother. “Watch this,” she whispered. “Hi Amanda!”

The woman jumped in fright as she turned and stared down at her. Dropping the freshly cleaned pot she bolted from the kitchen, screaming.

“What’s got her so spooked?” Will asked.

Alexa shrugged nonchalantly, grabbing a grape flavoured one. “I told her young witches had the ability to suck the youth from those around them then pointed to a grey hair near the front of her head.” She looked to the doorway. “It was only a piece of string though.”
