Dear Finnick,

No, I haven't forgotten about youmuch. I've been preoccupied with lake exploration and studies and classes and quidditch and... stuff. You're probably wondering what I discovered down at the lake, and in all honesty... it wasn't much. After coercing a young lion into helping me, I discovered it wasn't the squid... he was elsewhere at the time of the next bread-in-lake-testing.

Naturally I thought it might have been the merpeople, because they're PEOPLE like us, I'm a PERSON. But as it turns out they don't eat bread. So.. it's not them?

Working my way through my list of epicideas, the next theory was that the BREAD was magiccause that'd be awesome, right?!. But after doing a number of bread-in-non-lake-water I discovered that it's just normal breadpossibly made with love... or house elf saliva. So my final conclusion, which I cannot test forwell I haven't figured out HOW to, yet, is that... it was the nargles! Pesky little nargley things wasting my precious time and distracting me from blowing things up.

Anyway. It wasn't a COMPLETE waste of time. I've learnt many things on this tripjourney.

1) I'm epicresourceful.
2) Gryffindor's will do anything for food.
3) That the librarian knows nothing about nargles.

What will be our next adventure Finnick? perhaps I should have TAKEN you with me to the lake?? oh wellllll.
