SPRING!

31. Orchideous

Sarah woke up with a start... sunlight streamed through the window and birds chirped outside. She ran to the window, drew the curtains and there before her were flowers in bloom, blossoms on trees... ahh. So this was Hogwarts in spring. A case of Spring mania caught Sarah and was bursting with spring energy. Isn’t it lovely when it was spring. Spring with its green shoots bursting forth, animals coming out of hibernation… spring for Sarah signified – a new beginning. The dormitory showed no signs of Spring yet and Sarah was bursting for some greenery. Then she remembered what she had learnt in Transfiguration. “Orchideous” said she, drawing a circle in the air with her wand. A bouquet of flowers appeared, brightly coloured Gerberas, such as pink, orange and yellow lightened up the room and gave it a spring feel. She placed the bouqet on her bed-sdie table.
