Wow, the Professor was going nuts! She had sprayed a girl in the face with water and was now yelling at everyone. Once she heard Professor Lafay say that Vindictus was a tired old man, she just burst out laughing. She even heard a couple others laughing, one was a Slytherin. After regaining composure she looked up at the Professor as she explained the next step for harvesting the plimpy. Pulling her notes over to her she picked up her quill and dipped it into the ink and began writing down the steps as the Professor demenstrated and spoke. It had been a good idea for her to leave room under the first step. Rumaging through her bag she found her gloves and put them on. Picking up her scapel she cleaned it cortesy of the scourgify spell, Scourgify!

Couting the fins she remembered there were five. After taking a breath and appoligizing to the Plimpy she cut an incision under the scales by the fins, after cutting all she needed to she removed the first fin. Going to the nest one she repeated what she had done and then moved on to the remaining three. After taking all five fins off and had placed them into the tray, she took a shaky breath they would be dislocating thier legs.

Even though it was already dead she felt it was wrong. Sighing she gripped on of the legs and rotated it until she heard a pop. Revolted she picked up her scapel and cut along the lose skin and then pulled the leg off and placed the leg in the tray and moved onto the second leg. After rotating it until the pop she picked up her scapel once again and cut along the lose skin and pulled the leg off and began placing it in the tray but that didnt happen. Her hand holding the leg just froze over the tray. She wasnt moving nor did it appear like she was blinking.

"He did it," Sierra accused, hearing that last question just as she randomly unfroze. Her finger was pointing right at Oakey Gunter, a mere foot from his face. She was sitting in front of him, after all. "Oakey Gunter slung the slime from his plimpy on the back of my head, and when I turned to face him, I..." Wait. What did happen? She didn't even recall what happened when she'd turned around. The last thing she remembered was Professor's Lafay's voice sounding in the distance, and then she heard that last question about someone...well, doing something. "Whatever happened, happened when Gunter slung his plimpy slime on the back of my head..."

Oakey closed his eyes hard as Lafay began fuming with rage at the freezing of her prefect. Right maybe if he just pretended that he was never here nothing bad will happen. He reached inside his robe and grabbed onto the scarab charm Mordy gave him and began rubbing it frantically.

Then he continued stuttering in fear. I-It wa-was an-an-an accid-accident.

Oh Merlin, if Lafay wasn't going to use him in her next potion after protecting Roro from her evil ways. This would most certainly be the next best way for it to happen.

Was everyone looking at him now? Way to blend into class Oakey.

Kurumi's attention spun around to the younger lion who was accusing her of freezing. WHAT was she talking about?! Jaw hanging open slightly, Kurumi simply stared at the girl and shook her head as she leaned over the table just a bit. "Narumi, what are you talking about? I've never fro------"

Kurumi's forward movement came to a sudden stop, but it was not enough to stop her statue-like body from moving forward a bit more and she fell in such a way that she was leaning against his shoulder with all her weight so she was quite literally leaning against him for support. Kurumi's eyes were looking straight head, mouth still open in midsentence, and nothing about her was moving.

After the whole Oakey incident Kennedy returned his attention back to Lafay. Fiiiinally, back to work. He put his gloves on and took out his wand and cleaned the scalpel with a quick Scourgify. His head spun faster than a rolling pin. His eyes wide just stared at her while his hands gripped the back of the chair tightly. What was going on?! Only, that THIS worried him. It was Sierra that had frozen now. As soon as Lafay threatened to take off points though Sierra came back to her senses and...pointed at that puffer boy.

"He did what?!" he said, already fixing a glare upon the kid.

Narumi yelled in the Huffie's defense Plus! Kurumi and Nerida didnt get hit with slime and they both froze! She didnt even know the puff and she was defending him. It would be a shame if the Professor didnt understand the logic.

Eyes goes to the Gryffindor Prefect, just as someone yells out about Kurumi experiencing habitual freezing just as they were all witnessing now. And as if that weasnt enough, Kurumi freezes RIGHT BEFORE HIS EYES "Body fluid contact..." he repeated again. "Williamson could've gotten in from Roro, or the many animals in his care... this could be a water-borne disease, even moisture in the air-- spreads around the grounds-- that would explain why Professor Vindictus got it too." he said, in an eerily calm voice but one cant mistake the SHEER TERROR that is just shaking with every word.

His eyes returns now to Professor Lafay "Professor, do you still think this is a prank? Isnt it more logical, given the evidences happening right NOW, that we are in the midst of an outbreak? Right now in your classroom, with all of us in here? With Plimpies from the LAKE cut up and open and exposed in such a confined environment? he wants to drop in a fetal position and just CRY, so terrified now that he is seeing DEATH in the EYE. But no not before asking for his ONE HOPE "Can you administer that potion now please? I dont want to get what they've got. I want to graduate from Hogwarts. I want to live "

So, the Slytherin girl had come unfrozen and was... blaming it on Oakey? Glenn threw her a glare at the other people accusing *cough*Dylan*cough* them of faking it. It didn't look very fake. With a significant glare in his direction, Glenn went over to Kurumi and waved her (still covered in slimy gloves) hands in front of her eyes. "I don't think they're faking it." She responded, while she may or may not have flecked Kurumi and that old Slytherin she was leaning on with slime.

And the Oakey thing? "Merlin, did anyone actually see anyone with a wand out? It'd be pretty hard to hex someone without a wand... unless you're an adult or teacher" The blonde said perhaps a little too loudly, eyeing the first year snake who had piped up saying that they thought that Oakey had done it too. Ugh. It seemed all these people worried about were points.

"Professor you are the best person to determine who cast the spell. If you could, could you please test our wands? I hate to see friends become enemies because of what is going on in class right now."

'Plus I want to get back to harvesting this Plimpy and get out of this class.' Alyssa thought to herself.

Someone started talking louder than usual and Lafay started yelling again. The Prefect turned around and saw Sierra frozen... then moving again. Lafay was shouting and almost had a heart attack. Louisa smiiiiiiirked for a nanosecond before starting to frown and look the other way where Jonathan was announcing Kurumi's freeze out. AGAIN.

"I told you it wasn't a prank!" she hissed before looking expectantly at Lafay, now what?!

...........and wasn't just her or did it seem like the Prefects were the only one freezing out?
