1. All SS Board Rules apply. If you haven't done so already, go read them now. "I didn't know that was a rule" will not be accepted as an excuse for rule breaking.

2. The girls' dormitory is only to be entered by Hufflepuff witches. In other words, boys are not allowed in the girls' dorm under any circumstances. Likewise, the boys' dormitory is only to be entered by Hufflepuff wizards, so girls should not be in the boys' dorm for any reason. Anyone caught in the wrong dormitory will receive detention, or possibly even school expulsion. Honestly, the girl's dormitory is not that different from the boys. You're not missing anything!

3. No PDA (Public Displays of Affection). The occasional hug or peck on the cheek is acceptable, but anything more and you will face detention, suspension or expulsion. I understand you want to be affectionate, but you are here to learn magic, not achieve a record number of kisses. So please, keep that affection to a minimum and instead put it towards your homework.

4. Drugs and alcohol are forbidden. If you are found with any such item you will be expelled.

5. There will be no illegal activities in this House. This includes the discussion of illegal muggle activities such as the illegal downloading of music and software, as well as discussing inappropriate topics and lewd behavior.

6. OOC comments should be kept to a minimum. We don't need to know that you are leaving - just have your character leave the room, go to the kitchens, bed, or wherever. Sometimes it is unavoidable, but if you can, send a PM or VM to the member you're RPing with to chat.

7. These rules will be enforced by your Head of House, House Moderator, House Prefects and other school staff. You are expected to show proper respect to all members of the SS School RP staff, this includes prefects.

8. Most importantly, HAVE FUN! Despite the presence of rules, you can still have an amazingly fun time, so go out there, have fun and try to win Hufflepuff the House Cup by earning House Points through class participation, submitting homework, and random positive deeds. What would the role play be if everyone was bored our of their minds? Attend classes, join a team, or even just talk to anyone you meet.
