“Beatrice Evangeline! Do come down already!And hurry!” Grandma Eva was calling her eldest granddaughter to come down.

“Yes Grandma! I’m coming..” Beezus replied, then she jumped over to the other side of her bed, reached out for her silver sandals. Suddenly, a thought struck her. Beside the sandals was her favorite pair of converse shoes. “Hmm..surely they won’t notice if I wear this under my dress right?” she whispered to herself as she eyed her white Grecian-inspired bridesmaid gown.
