Sophie was absolutely excited about all this. She got in the Student Garden with the beiggest smile on her face, her Pygmy Pugg, Lavender, on her shoulder and three pretty vases on her arms. "I do hope you like this, Lavender, because I know I will!" She said happily, while looking around and spotting some absolutely beautiful flowers. That was her favorite thing about plants. FLOWERS! Colorful and pretty, pretty flowers! That's why she named the Pygmy Puff Lavender in the first place.

That sure looked like her mum's garden! She missed spending long mornings just looking at it. She was glad she had to work with flowers at school! She walked up to where some big and bright flowers were. "Aren't those lovely, Lavender?" She asked her Puff while placing the vases on the ground. She didn't even know where to start. "So many beautiful plants here!" Her eyes sparkled as she looked around. "You're helping me out, Lavender!" She exclaimed, holding the Pygmy Puff and making it face the whole garden. "Look! Let me know which ones you like best!" She had no idea of how Lavender would do that, but she was ready to try and understand the creature.

Lavender seemed to stare at the flowers really hard. Sophie hoped that it was a good sign. When she made the little Puff face the bug and colorful daisies, Lavender squeaked three times. Sophie's eyes widened and she held the Pygmy Puff closer so she could look at its face. "Was that you saying you like those??" Blinking, she went closer to the daisies with Lavender and made the Pygmy Puff look closely at them. "What do you think? Yes?" Surprisingly, Lavender squeaked a little louder this time. "Hm... I'll take that as a yes!" She said excitedly while placing Lavender on the ground beside the flowers and pulling out her wand. She had seen her mother using this spell many times and was glad she would finally be able to use it now! She pointed her wand at some branches. "Diffindo! The next thing she knew, there were around five daisy branches on the top of Lavender. "Oops! Sorry there, Lavender!" She giggled and grabbed the daisies. "Do you think that's enough?" Sophie stared at the Pygmy Puff for a couple of seconds but it didn't squeak this time. "I'll take that as a 'yes'!" She finally said.

Smiling and getting up and letting Lavender climb on her arm, Sophie rushed over to where she had left her bag and the vases. "I think these will look good in the red vase, don't you think?" She asked the Puff while kneeling down and putting the flowers in the vase. "These colors look really nice together!" She would leave the arrangment part to when she placed the vases around the castle. The flowers would get messed up while she carried the vases around anyway!

"There! Now, I think we need some white flowers for this colorful vase here..." Sophie said, holding up the striped vase. It was her favorite! "Help me out, will you, Lavender?" She got up and looked around to find some white flowers. "THERE!" She exclaimed and ran over to where some white lillies where. Oh so pretty! "Aren't these great, Lavender??? THERE'RE SO GREAT!" Her eyes sparkled as she pulled out her wand once more and pointed it towards some branches. "Diffindo!" Three branches on her hand. She was about to turned around and go back to her vases when Lavender squeaked. "What is it, Lavender? You want to cut one too? Okay then!" She put the flowers on the ground and held Lavender closer to a branch. She looked down to see if she wasn't stepping on the lillies she had just picked and when she looked back up... "WHAT? Lavender!" The Pygmy Puff had just EATEN a flower! O_____O Sophie quickly looked around to see if she was alone with her Puff. "Please, OH PLEASE don't let Professor Bentley know about this!" She thought to herself. "Well... that's something else to add to the list of things she eats..." Sophie grabbed the lillies on the ground and rushed back to her bag and vases.

She knelt down by her bag and pulled the striped vase closer to put the flowers in it. She would still look around to see if someone had seen Lavender eating the flower, but there wasn't anyone around her. Good. The lillies looked good on her striped vase! She smiled and stared at the two vases with flowers in them. Soooo pretty!

Okay, now we only need flower to this last vase and-- Wait... Where was Lavender now? Sophie jumped up and looked around again. "Lavender?? Lavender???" "OMGOSHPLEASEDON'TEATMOREPLANTS!!" Sophie left her bag and vases behind and ran around the garden. "Lavender?? Don't do anything wrong, Lavender! I can see you!" No, she couldn't! AAAHHHHH!!!! "Lavendeeeer!!!" "No, no, no, Professor Bentley's going to kill me! It's mum all over again!" "LAVENDEEEER?!?!?!?!"

Sophie stopped before a huuuuuuuuuuuge area she had not seen earlier. It was an area of beautiful and bright... "Lavenders...!" A big smile spread across Sophie's face when she saw the flowers AND her Pygmy Puff right in front of them. Awwwww, such an adorable sight! It was enough to completely calm Sophie down. "You have a really good taste for flowers, Lavender!" No pun intended, of course. "Those will be the ones for our last vase!" She walked over and got some pretty lavenders, alongside with Lavender.
