The common room was way too busy, and someone locked the door to the girls dorm, the next quietest place would be the secret passage. Nobody else had a pygme puff that Olivia could race Flippert with, so she'd just half to race him herself. She'd see how fast Flippert could run down to the end of the secret passage and back.

It was wicked dark, down the tunnel. "Lumos", she lit her wand and walked down to the end. It felt like half a mile long, Flippert would be running a marathon!
Once at the end, she lit her wand to create an even stronger light. "Lumos Maxima"she said, and set her wand on the ground. She had to squint because it was so bright. Leaving the wand there, she ran back to the mouth of the passage and set Flippert on the ground. "Ready, go, Run to the light!" she told Flippert, "Run, run, run, go Flippert go".Olivia could see him run down the passage. She counted how long it took for Flippert to run to the end and back. He ran really fast! It took 1 minute and 28 seconds! She recorded that her journal.
