She decided to do as the Professor said and practiced the tap on the desk. "Tap..Tap...Tap...Tap..." She was making a lot of noice when the wand hit the desk but it wasn't her fault she was trying to be quiet as she could but the desk was hard and wanted to make a noice.
The little Hufflepuff was lucky that other students told her to stop that tapping. After all, disrupting the lesson was something the professor tended to take points for. At least she was on task now. Quote:

Just a precaution in case the Professor would deduct points from her standing all of a sudden.
Then she headed over to the desk where the Ravenclaw Prefect was seated. She bent down, "Eino..please teach me the Finite Charm.." she plead, putting her hands together as she beamed. "No problem." Althea nodded her approval. She liked it when the students helped one another. Quote:

After what felt like hours but was probably only a couple of minutes, his wrists started to hurt a little. Maybe he really shouldn't be doing that anymore. But it felt so...weird in a good way. Heh. Nonetheless, Lewis released the pressure on his hands by letting himself fall back into his chair again.
Raising his wand a little lazily he pointed it at his left hand again. Bye bye, weird feeling! "Reverto!" There you go. Now it was gone. "Finite, Mr. Rasting." Althea corrected as she passed the boy by. Quote:

"Finite," he cast quickly, already with prior knowledge of the spell from his duels with Jez in the Room of Requirement. Finite was definitely a useful spell concerning survival in a duel...
After a few seconds, the tingling left his left hand entirely, and one more slide test confirmed that the gripping charm was gone. His hands still burned, though, and Ravenclaw couldn't afford to lose any more points.
"Looks like you're allergic to the wood varnish." Althea commented, seeing the boy's hand. "Some spells, such as this one, make those who are already sensitive more sensitive because you can feel it more." But it couldn't be the charm itself. Why would she teach a charm that would hurt her students and then get them to use it on themselves? She wouldn't. Quote:

In her waving hand was also the envelope that contained the message. Which Selena had not been allowed to look at. Maybe the professor could tell her what was inside of the envelope... hehe...
"Yes miss Zabini-Riddle?" Althea went on over and frowned slightly. Something for her? An envelope? It couldn't be important, or the Slytherin would have given it to her earlier. And if it wasn't important, surely it was not necessary to give it to her during a lesson?

"Alright everyone. Good work practising. We'll have a ten minute break now and then you can meet me outside to play a game for the remainder of the class. You're more than welcome to stay here and practise for a little longer if you need to do so." ooc: I will post the next part in a new thread in the grounds as soon as I can. The game will begin tomorrow at: 6pm EST/11pm GMT/Midday Tegz time
I will LINK the thread from here when it is ready. The game will serve as HOMEWORK, so there will not be an additional assignment given. Points for the lesson (what we've done so far) will go in as soon as I get a chance as well.
You may still post here if you didn't get your practising in, or would like to ask questions or just have your character practise some more.
