Maybe it was the minister himself who came up with that false fact, just so he could "fix" it, be glorified, and be re-elected. That was very clever. Still, all the fuzz over conserving the species wasn't clear to Eino, so he put his hand high in the air to ask a question. "Professor, are giant squids often used as Sir Bartholomew Henry was intended to, as a means of protection?" According to Bartholomew's docile nature, Eino would have never been able to guess that. His rear was still wet. So he was not in a good mood. "No" Scabior said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "The Minister was just an idiot. Quote:

He raised both hands, speaking tentatively. He didn't want a tentacle takedown. "Sir," he said, addressing Williamson, who, after all, had told the story. "How exactly was Mr. Henry meant to have protected Hogwarts? I mean, Voldemort was extremely strong. He likely would've just killed Mr. Henry from far off before he was in danger." Well he would, right?
And something else... "I'm not meaning to be rude, but why would Godric Gryffindor's Animagus form be a squid? Wouldn't you think it would be a lion?" He just couldn't see Voldemort falling for that. "They probably hoped if they could train him, then he could hide under the water and attack when Voldemort didn't expect it." Scabior gave the boy a nod. "It could be a squid. As Miss Hollingberry said wizards do not choose their Animagus form." So Voldemort could have believed in the rumour. Quote:

"Again, wizards do not choose their Animagus form, so Gryffindor's could have very well be a giant squid."
