“Professor, if they’re called Portkey’s then why are key’s hardly ever used as the object people need touch?” Reid asked. He was genuinely curious, since logic would state that you WOULD use a key since that was part of its name. Then again it was the Wizarding World and unfortunately they didn’t seem to follow logic when it came to naming things.

It seemed however that Reid’s curiosity wouldn’t be satisfied by his teacher who merely waffled on, only making it obvious that she didn’t know the answer to his question, before steering the conversation in a completely different direction.
